EU Commission Proposes Data Center Regulation, Designates ChatGPT VLOSE
The European Commission proposed new regulations for data center energy efficiency and designated ChatGPT as a Very Large Online Search Engine (VLOSE) under the Digital Services Act (DSA). This requires OpenAI to comply with DSA obligations to assess and mitigate systemic risks.
