Microsoft Launches Open-Source Physical AI Toolchain for Offloaded Robotics Inference

Microsoft has released its open-source Physical AI Toolchain, a production-ready framework that integrates Azure cloud services with NVIDIA's physical AI stack. This toolchain accelerates robotics and physical AI development by automating data curation, augmentation, and evaluation. A new capability allows for offloaded physical AI inference for robots, enabling distributed inference across robots, edge, and cloud via Kubernetes.
