New Connecticut AI Regulation Law Goes Into Effect

A new Connecticut state law regulating artificial intelligence and AI chatbots is set to take effect on October 1st. The legislation prohibits AI companies with subscription services from renewing without explicit written notice and consumer agreement to terms and conditions. Non-compliant companies will face prosecution under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act.
