NIST Seeks Input on Medical AI Standards for Diagnostics and Devices

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking input on future needs for medical metrology and standards for AI-enabled medical imaging, devices, and diagnostics. This initiative aims to inform a joint NIST-NIBIB roadmap, guide federal programs, and support the development and validation of next-generation AI healthcare technologies.
