New Research Action Policy Lab in the Global South Sets Out To Prove AI Can Create Opportunity

As world leaders gather at the UN, a new Research Action Policy Lab, the Institute for Human Flourishing, is launching in the Global South. Supported by The Rockefeller Foundation, Schmidt Philanthropies, and the Government of India, the lab aims to demonstrate how AI can create opportunities. This initiative comes alongside warnings that AI could either close or widen the gap in weather forecasting for health without deliberate action.
